NASA, NCSA (National Center for Supercomputing Applications), and the NPOESS (National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System) Integrated Program Office will hold a joint HDF (Hierarchical Data Format) workshop to discuss use of the HDF standards in satellite observations of the Earth and related applications. The workshop will be held in the heart of downtown San Francisco and consist of presentations, discussions, tutorials and demonstrations of tools.
